Question

by Kyle - Oct 11, 2009

Last time I asked two questions, tried to cheat the system, seem to be guilty of that alot...Why am I burdened with this struggle? If you are my creator then you know full well who I am and why I am here. My question thus is, will I ever be free of this demon cleft to me, or am I only trying to fight myself and your path for me?

Answer

GOD - I suggest a serious 3-5 day fasting and prayer session. Get out your Bible, lock on to Me in prayer, ask the Holy Spirit to clean your house (meaning your body), and fill the vacuum with His presence. And then pray for Jesus to put His arms around you. Keep them there by your continued trust in Him. Remember that the word `Repent` not only means to confess your sins but ALSO to actually (physically and mentally)TURN from them and go the other direction. Take a good look at your friends and activities. A real change is needed.

Question

I have a horrible dating track record. I''m only eight teen. For the first time, I''m with a man who cares for me deeply, and genuinely, he doesn''t ask for sex, he gives willingly and graciously, and every single thing about him makes me thankful to have him in my life. He is not saved, but he lets me talk about religion to him, which is something even my `saved` boyfriends did not do. My mother is hung up on him being `trash` just because he has a few tattoos and wasn''t raised in a Christian home. Is this so wrong? I know You of all, would not judge based upon skin, upbringing, or anything like that. Is this relationship doomed to fail merely because he is not currently saved? Am I in the wrong?

Answer

GOD - Paul answered your question in 1st Corinthians:

1Cr 7:12 - 16 But to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away. And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him. For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy. But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such [cases]: but God hath called us to peace. For what knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save [thy] husband? or how knowest thou, O man, whether thou shalt save [thy] wife?
